FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Come to Vail in February

The greatest ski racers on earth arrive in Vail and Beaver Creek next month! During the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, experience the most extraordinary convergence of over 700 athletes from more than 70 nations. Beginning February 2nd through the 15th, Beaver Creek will be the epicenter of the competition. Vail will be the official ceremony and festival grounds, reveling in parties, concerts, and culinary and artistic celebrations. View the races at no charge and travel on the free bus to the stadium style seating. Have a current Vail\Beaver Creek lift ticket or pass? Take Trail 2015 (Beaver Creek Races) and ski down the mountain to watch the expert racers reach death defying speeds in their quest for the podium. Eagle County real estate surpasses $1.5 billion

Within the first 11 months of the year Eagle County real estate surpasses $1.5 billion in sales volume for the second time in the last 6 years. The month of November sales volume was down slightly compared with last November, $128,287,523 versus $138,598,549, but it brings the year-to-date total to $1,526,607,286. This volume was achieved through 1,631 transactions, the exact same transactions as 2013 year to date; 167 of those sales were in November. The overall year-to-date average sales price of $942,661. Vail Village had the highest dollar volume for the month with over $16 million; this also included the highest sale of the month at $5,300,000.
